 Membrane bioreactors play an important role in municipal wastewater treatment, as time goes by, the accumulation of hair will reduce the efficiency of the whole system. Therefore, membrane bioreactor has to completely replace the membrane, which undoubtedly increases the cost of the product.


There are many ways to solve this problem, the most common is to use hair pretreatment. The filtration accuracy of most pre-treatment fine screens is 800-6500 microns, but it is well known that the fineness of human hair is between 17 and 180 microns, which obviously can not achieve the qualified filtering effect.


Now wedge wire drum screen usually used for municipal wastewater treatment. This new type of drum screen is welded by special V-shaped wire and T-shaped support rod, and only two points contact with impurities. It is not easy to block and clean. It is a perfect solution for urban sewage.


The large flow capacity is also a big advantage of the wedge wire screen drum. Compared with the traditional punching screen barrel, the V-shaped wire makes it have a continuous slotting structure, so it has a larger opening area. The low-pressure drop also makes it more energy efficient.

Their release ended a four-month nightmare for the city, where the disease was first detected in December.
